Ikea show us with their display stand that colours are back this year, and we're not talking about muted tomes or soft pastels but loud, bold colours. Patterns are also back on trend along with deliberate colour clashing. So, if you're looking for a stylish way to boost the look of your home try adding patterned wallpaper, brightly coloured cushions and bold abstract wall art.

Home Work Rooms – Wall Art Storage Ideas

Many of us have a passion for knitting, crochet, making clothes and own soft furnishings. Have a separate room in which to carry out the hobbies or home-crafts is ideal. However, you also need to keep the room well organised and things close to hand, making a feature wall using knitting wool is just one idea that's grabbed my attention (via the image source below).

This is an inexpensive, handy and very attractive way to use your hobby materials to make a stunning piece of wall art that will change as these wools are used up and replaced with others. This is also texturally fabulous with the added bonus of being 3D.
