This year Pantone have made emerald
their on-trend colour. This beautiful jewel naturally occurs in many
different colour hues, but the one we're probably most familiar with
is the gorgeous mid to dark green. As green is renowned for its
energising affects this stunning colour is going to been seen both in
fashion and within interior designs throughout this year.
With such an intense colour homes will
be look luxurious, and when teamed with black or aubergine accents
living rooms and bedrooms can easily become dynamic to look at. Be
inspired by the jewel itself, focusing on clarity and saturation of
colour. Only the mid to dark tones can truly be called emeralds
within the jewellery trade, any paler colours are classified as green
beryls.

Emerald is the birthstone of May and
also associated with the zodiac signs, Cancer, Taurus and Gemini.
Although you don't have to have any of these reasons to include this
striking colour in your home.
